Bmw fog light malfunction
WebJan 22, 2013 · First time it came on, after a few miles and a few trips, the front lights flashed on and off all by themselves (can't be sure if it was the fogs or the mains) and the warning light went out. Some sort of auto-reset? Now a few weeks later and the warning light is on again. I'm beginning to wonder if it's the control unit (is that called the LCU?) WebIf you want a temporary fix, then you can unplug the vehicle’s battery for 10-15 minutes. This will clear the malfunction warning, although do bear in mind that it is not going to fix the problem. So, not only will your BMW low beam still not be working correctly, but that warning is going to appear again.
