I know that many of these helmets were used by Finland post war, but the liner and chinstrap don't match Finnish examples that I've seen. The white paint looks old, but looks like it may be on top of much of the corrosion on the green paint. WebThe Hungarians did not supply these post-WW2. They received them all during the war. Later in life, post-WW2, they were refurbished by the Finnish military giving them new liners, repainting them and often drilling extra holes. Such as mine here. They were all delivered with out the Hungarian crest stamp.
