WebI really liked Palau as a base for its location for accessing Costa Smerelda, La Maddalena Islands and also Capo Testa and the ferry to Corsica, but also for being a bigger, buzzy place in the evenings. A good choice of restaurants, nice main streets and harbour, good selection of shops and the night market was fun for souvenir shopping too.
